John P. (Buddy) Franke brings more than two decades of legal experience to the family’s real estate development and brokerage operations. Buddy established his law firm, The Franke Law Firm, P.C., on South Padre Island in 2006 and has continuously worked closely with the family business, providing legal guidance across all phases of development and brokerage activities.

Buddy is board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in both Residential Real Estate Law and Commercial Real Estate Law, a distinction held by a select group of attorneys in the state. His practice focuses on residential and commercial real estate transactions, lender representation, and general business law.
