Concerts on the Bay returns this fall on Friday, Sept. 19 and will last through Nov. 1. Events are held at the South Padre Island entertainment district, located on Laguna Boulevard and Pike Street.
These are free concerts that begins this Friday September 19 at 7:00 pm with Nathan Hubble and then the Dahebegebees at 8:30 pm. Saturday September 20 at 7:00 is Del Castillo and then Brett McCormick Band at 8:30 pm.
According to the band’s website, the Dahebegebees “spawned from the very vibrant musical, melting pot that is Austin, Texas.“Ady Hernandez (guitar/lead vocals), Mista Meo (drums/vocals), Aaron Hatmaker (bass), Miguel McDonald (vocals), and Mitch Quintanilla (sax) have played countless shows traveling for miles across the U.S., forging this band into a tight, powerful unit. Since then, the band has made its name into some of the most elite circles in the music game from Los Lobos, Los Lonely Boys, War, Heart, Little Joe Y La Familia, Malo, El Chicano, Asleep at the Wheel, Willie Nelson, and more.
